Description:
In the role of Technical Administrator your duties will include:
* Supporting the Network Occupancy Manager in street works management, abnormal loads management, temporary and permanent traffic order management, highway regulatory and enforcement management & Special Events Co-ordination and Planning
* Providing administrative support
* Assist the Manager and Team with associated function
* To administer and manage records and data
* Recording, distribution and monitoring of technical advice from service providers
* To be the principal point of contact
* Assisting in the preparation of information required for internal and external reports
* To attend meetings as required
* Design, implement, develop and maintain administration systems, including filing, storage and retrieval, to meet service specifications and ensure that all work is undertaken to a high standard
* Construction sites visits
* Deal with enquiries from the general public
* To deal with complaints and enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
* Undertake any other reasonable duty which corresponds to the salary level and responsibility level of the job
To be successful In the role of Technical Administrator you will need:
* Good communication skills
* Display personal initiative and the ability to deal with people in a courteous, sensitive and professional manner
* Ability to prioritise work and respond positively to tight working deadlines5 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) including, English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications)
* Experience of technical administration in a busy office environment
* Experience of dealing sensitively and diplomatically with queries and complaints by members of the public, contractors and elected members.
* Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
* Knowledge of financial systems for ordering / invoicing
* IT
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Be able to undertake basic calculations and data analysis, and be able to produce basic reports for management
* Full UK licence
This is a full time temporary role for at least 6 months, working Monday – Friday but will require occasional working outside normal office hours. On an hourly rate of £14.88 plus holiday pay & pension
