About Us:

Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in South Liverpool.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a SEND school setting. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 with a highly dysregulated child, alongside another member of staff. The role will continue until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a highly dysregulated child in a SEND school environment.
Work collaboratively with another member of staff to ensure the child's needs are met effectively.
Employ Team-Teach techniques and strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
Support the child's learning and development, considering their individual needs and abilities.Requirements:

Previous experience working with SEND children is essential.
Team-Teach training certification is required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience working with non-verbal children is preferred.
High level of English language skills.Benefits:
