Job Title: Team Teach SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Team Teach trained SEN Teaching Assistant. We would also consider applicants with a similar qualification. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working within a school setting and have a passion for supporting children or adults with ASD or ADHD.
Job Duties:
Supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
Helping students with personal care needs, if required
Encouraging student engagement and participation in learning activities
Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
Team Teach certification
Prior experience working in a school environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) are desirable
Experience:
Experience working with children or adults with ASD or ADHD
Experience implementing behaviour management strategies
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of SEN educational practises
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
Higher education qualification in Education or related field
Additional training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:
Full-time role in a primary or secondary school
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Temporary position with the potential for extension/permanent role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
