Position: Team Manager - Mental Health Adult Team
Location: Oldham Council
Hourly Rate: £40.00 per hour

About the Role:

Ackerman Pierce is seeking a skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead the Mental Health Adult Team at Oldham Council. This role involves managing a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing high-quality mental health services to adults within the community. As a Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective service delivery and improving the well-being of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of social workers and mental health professionals.
Oversee the delivery of mental health services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
Conduct regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and performance appraisals.
Develop and implement service improvement plans to enhance the quality of care.
Manage complex cases and provide expert advice and guidance to team members.
Liaise with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring targets and objectives are met.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
Registered with Social Work England.
Significant experience in mental health services, including team management.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.
Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
