Are you looking for a role within a relaxed and contemporary working environment? My client is looking for an experienced leader to head their building structures team in Birmingham as part of their growth plans for the office.
They need someone who is a natural technical lead already working in a leadership role. The consultancy has a contemporary approach to their work and there is a real focus on work/life balance and as such there is a flexible working policy along with regular staff social events.
You should be a Chartered engineer with excellent communication skills and a commercially astute problem solver.
What will make you stand out will be your strong technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects, offering the ability to deliver high quality, innovative and commercially effective engineering solutions. You will act a representative at meetings with clients, architects and contractors providing expert engineering advice and developing strong professional relationships.
At this level our client will require you to oversee the efficient allocation of resources, whilst providing technical guidance and mentoring to members of your team, playing a key role in developing the technical capability and future strength of the wider team.
