The role
You'll lead the powder coating team, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are achieved. Key responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating the powder coating team
Planning workloads and meeting production deadlines
Overseeing pre-treatment, powder coating, curing and inspection
Monitoring quality, material usage and equipment performance
Driving continuous improvement and reducing waste
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures
Training and developing team members
About you
Previous experience in powder coating, paint line or surface finishing
Experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of powder coating processes and quality standards
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques is advantageous
