Team Leader – Children’s Residential EBD
Location: Greenford, West London
Service: Children’s residential EBD home
Job type: Full-time, permanent
We are recruiting an experienced Team Leader for a children’s residential EBD home in Greenford.
The successful candidate will lead shifts, support Residential Support Workers and ensure children receive safe, structured and trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
* Leading residential shifts
* Allocating duties and supporting team members
* Safeguarding children and responding to concerns
* Managing challenging behaviour using appropriate de-escalation techniques
* Supporting care plans, risk assessments and key-work sessions
* Completing incident reports, handovers and daily records
* Supporting children with education, appointments and life skills
* Promoting a positive and consistent culture within the home
Requirements
* Recent UK children’s residential experience
* Experience within an Ofsted-regulated service
* EBD and challenging-behaviour experience
* Level 3 Residential Childcare completed or being completed
* Previous senior or shift-leading experience
* Good knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations
* Ability to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins
* Unrestricted right to work in the UK
