Lockhart Recruitment is supporting a forward-thinking, rapidly expanding global organisation with an exceptional reputation for both customer service and employee care. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious Team Leader / Account Manager to join their Exeter-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is already managing and developing client accounts whilst leading a team, or for an experienced sales and business development professional who is ready to take the next step into a people leadership role.
The Role
You'll be responsible for growing and nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a team to achieve outstanding results.
Leading from the front, you'll inspire, coach and motivate your team while ensuring clients receive a first-class experience at every stage of their journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, develop and maintain long-term client relationships
* Drive account growth and identify new business opportunities
* Lead, mentor and coach a team to achieve individual and collective targets
* Motivate and inspire a high-performance culture
* Conduct regular team reviews, training and development sessions
* Manage client expectations and ensure exceptional service delivery
* Work closely with senior management to support business growth
* Be a visible and proactive leader who leads by example
About You
We're looking for someone with energy, ambition and a genuine passion for people.
You'll ideally have:
* Experience in account management, sales or business development
* Previous team leadership or people management experience, or a strong desire to move into a leadership role
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence on the telephone and in client-facing conversations
* A self-motivated, proactive and resilient approach
* The ability to coach, develop and bring out the best in others
* Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
