You will be part of an experienced team as a Team Leader providing customer care landscape services and a full range of horticultural work as required by the contracted works. These projects will vary according to the client’s requirements and the designer’s interpretations.

As a Team Leader, you will work will ensure that every client gets the award-winning Landscape that they expect. The Team Leader role will use all your Landscaping abilities and give you the opportunity to develop some new skills and qualifications.

You will be working for one of the country’s most successful Landscape companies as a Team Leader and part of a large international group and will have an important role in their already very successful Wickford depot.

Your duties will include:

* Tree and Shrub planting in accordance with specific instructions

* Turfing – Large scale

* Lifting Lawns and re-turf

* Barking / Mulching

* Timber structures.

* Drainage & Irrigation

* Supervising Operatives on site.

* General Horticultural duties as necessary

* Ensuring that the various skips are loaded correctly and safely.

* Making sure that completed work is recorded and reported.

* Communicating any issues or problems with your supervisor

* Notification of any H&S issues, Observations or Accidents in line with company procedures

* Making sure you have the correct uniform and PPE.

* Ensuring that all vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate.

* Making sure that all tools and equipment are well maintained, clean and serviceable.

The Person:

* Soft Landscaping experience

* Supervisory experience

* CSCS Card Required

* UK Driving licence essential.

* SSSTS / SMSTS desirable
