Warehouse Team Leader – Days
Location: Coventry
The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy third-party logistics (3PL) operation in Coventry, supporting a premium fashion and sportswear brand.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and experience in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will be responsible for leading a team on shift, ensuring daily targets are achieved and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve daily productivity and performance targets.
Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
Allocate workloads and manage resources effectively to meet operational demands.
Monitor team performance against KPIs, addressing any issues and implementing improvements where required.
Ensure all health and safety procedures and company policies are followed.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, accuracy and operational efficiency.
Support the training, development and performance management of team members.
Work closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where necessary.
Ensure standard operating procedures are followed consistently across the team.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role.
Experience working within a warehouse, distribution centre or 3PL environment.
A proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively.
Good understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, order fulfilment and stock control.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
Experience working towards KPIs and productivity targets.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
