Show Team Leader / Show Leader
Location: Arley
Pay: £14.61–£17.09 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00am until finish, Monday to Sunday
Working Days: Must be available to work weekends and up to 7 days, depending on business requirements.

About the Role
Are you an experienced Team Leader with a background in warehousing, logistics or distribution? Do you enjoy leading from the front, motivating a team and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment?
Our client is looking to recruit 2 Show Leaders / Team Leaders to join their team based in Arley, supporting exhibition and event operations across the UK and Europe.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for coordinating on-site teams, overseeing equipment movements and ensuring exhibition setups and breakdowns run safely, smoothly and efficiently.

Pay Rates
* Basic rate: £14.61 per hour
* 6th day worked: £15.99 per hour
* 7th day worked: £17.09 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and supervise staff, including delivering morning and evening team briefings.
* Delegate tasks effectively and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
* Coordinate exhibition and event setups and breakdowns.
* Oversee the unloading, storage, delivery, collection and reloading of vehicles and equipment.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
* Ensure all staff wear the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
* Liaise with customers, contractors and event organisers to ensure smooth operations.
* Manage expectations, identify potential issues and implement practical solutions.
* Travel to venues across the UK and Europe, occasionally staying away from home.
What We're Looking For
* At least 2 years' experience supervising or leading a team.
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* The ability to delegate effectively and remain calm under pressure.
* A practical, hands-on approach with good organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe and occasionally stay away from home.
Desirable, but not essential:
* Experience in exhibitions, events or event logistics.
* A valid forklift licence
