Swift Temps are currently working with a manufacturing client based in Ilkley who are on the lookout for a Team Leader on a permanent basis.
You will play a pivotal role as a Team Leader of a team of x10 overseeing all aspects of fabrication within the manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to Team Lead and optimise production processes while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
The package:
* Mon – Thurs – 7.30am to 4.30pm / Fri 7.30am to 12.45pm , 38.25 hours a week

Responsibilities:
* Working as a Team Leader you will supervise and coordinate the activities of a fabrication team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
* Co-ordinate and prioritise job orders in line with the business needs.
* Following production schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of orders.
* Continuously improve production processes by identifying opportunities for optimisation and implementing best practices.
* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
* lead & mentor, and motivate fabrication staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
* Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience 3+ Years in a Team Leading role within a manufacturing, engineering environment.
* In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control methods.
* Strong Team Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower teams.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
