Fixed Term Contract End Date: 31st October 2024
Pay Rate: £150 - £175 per day
Location: London, Maple Cross
 
Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic work environment? Our client is currently seeking a skilled Team Administrator to join their team to provide essential administrative support to senior management and their teams.
 
Reporting to the Executive Director or Senior Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the teams and Directorate.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for senior management and teams regarding administrative services, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Coordinate and manage departmental team meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and managing required actions.
Prepare and format briefing packs, presentations, and other documentation for senior management and departmental teams.
Update and maintain records, databases, and systems to facilitate effective functioning of the Directorate and collective team.
Gather information, compile reports, and maintain documentation to support senior management and departmental activities.
Manage travel requirements within policy and budget for senior management and teams.
Provide ad hoc administrative support and manage projects through to completion.
Continuously identify enhancements to improve the functioning of the collective team and Directorate.
Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles in all work activities. 
Required Skills and Experience:
 
Skills:

Ability to handle various administrative tasks, including diary management, travel booking, and meeting coordination.
Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. 
Knowledge:

Understanding of administrative and support services.
Familiarity with problem-solving techniques.
Knowledge of office systems and software. 
Experience:

Experience in providing administrative support in a business environment.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). 
Decision Making:

The ability to make decisions on travel and accommodation approvals, documentation filing systems, and system updates.
Referral for approval on matters such as travel outside corporate policies, spend approval, and recruitment approvals
