Aspire People are currently recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistants for regular work in schools across Bury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development and are looking for consistent work within local schools.
The Role
* Supporting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities.
* Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
* Helping create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and development.
* Assisting with classroom preparation and general classroom duties.
Requirements
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
* References covering the last two years of employment and/or relevant activity history.
* All gaps in employment or activity history must be fully explained and accounted for.
* Previous experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable.
* A patient, caring and positive approach to supporting children.
* Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undertake the necessary safeguarding checks.
