Teaching Assistant (KS3 & KS4) | Alternative Provision
Location: Stroud
Pay: £90-£115 per day + Holiday Pay (Holiday Pay - 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot)
Contract: Full-Time | Long-TermWe're recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Stroud, supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students who benefit from additional guidance both in and out of the classroom.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
What you'll be doing
Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Helping students engage with learning and build confidence.
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Working closely with teachers and support staff.
Supporting educational visits and off-site activities where required.
What we're looking for
At least 30 days' experience working with children or young people.
Experience supporting additional needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
A calm, compassionate and positive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young people.
