Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students across a range of educational settings in Hertfordshire. Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience and development of pupils, working alongside teachers to provide additional support in classrooms.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the headteacher and class teachers.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in the assessment of students’ progress.
* Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities in their classroom activities, ensuring they access the curriculum effectively.
* Prepare learning materials under the supervision of the teacher.
* Help manage class behavior and maintain a focus on learning.
* Support the teacher in managing class dynamics and facilitating a positive learning environment.
* Assist with school events, trips, and activities which may take place at various times.
Qualifications:
* Experience working with children in a learning environment is preferred.

* A valid DBS check, or willingness to undergo one.
