Description:
The Headteacher of a welcoming and caring Primary School in the Horwich area of Bolton is looking to recruit a capable Teaching Assistant, who has clear experience of supporting pupils in Year 1
The post is to start in September and will be full time Monday – Friday.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience offered to all children.
The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is:
* Knowledge and Understanding of the National curriculum for Key Stage 1
* Experience of supporting children in Year 1
* Phonics Experience preferably with Floppy Phonics is Desirable
* Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification, to Level 2 or equivalent
* A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards
* A Teaching Assistant who can create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
* Pro-active and resilient
* Strong Behaviour Management
