Teaching Assistant (Year 3) - Heysham

Veritas Education are seeking an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class in a welcoming primary school in Heysham.

This is a full-time, long-term position starting week commencing Monday 2nd November, working Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:15pm, term time only.

The Role

Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 3 classroom
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and interventions
Providing both group and 1:1 support where required
Encouraging pupil progress, confidence, and participation
Assisting with classroom preparation and general classroom duties

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
Has previous experience working in a primary school setting
Experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's learning

The Position

Full-time hours: 8:45am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday
