We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with learning difficulties and behavioural needs. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, within a supportive and welcoming school environment where guidance and ongoing support will be readily available.

Key Responsibilities

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with additional learning and behavioural needs
Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
Promote the child's emotional, social, and academic development
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all pupils
Work closely with teachers and other staff members to support learning outcomes

We Are Looking For Someone Who

Has a genuine passion for working with children
Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting individual needs
Is reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
Has previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
