About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a lovely primary school in Cradley Heath. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting SEND pupils within the classroom setting. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one support to SEND students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
* Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Implementing individualized learning plans and adapting teaching materials to meet the needs of SEND pupils.
* Supporting students with their social and emotional development.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for SEND students.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEND, either in a school setting or through voluntary work.
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with children.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with SEND.
* Relevant qualifications in education or SEND support are desirable but not essential.
