Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Chesterfield? Whether you're seeking the flexibility of supply work or a long-term or permanent position, Tradewind Recruitment would love to hear from you.
We are working with a wide range of primary schools across Chesterfield that are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs from EYFS through to Year 6.
In this rewarding role, you will support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, working both within mainstream classrooms and in specialist Integrated Resource (IR) Units. You'll play an important part in helping children access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential.
To be successful, you will:
Have previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs within a school or similar setting.
Be patient, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality support.
Be confident working with pupils across the primary age range (EYFS to Year 6).
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
