Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting for an excellent school for SEN children aged 2 to 19 - they firmly believe that, children who enjoy their education will engage with learning.
Through personalised programmes, interventions and support, the children achieve and therefore, the school values their staff as they are key in being able to facilitate the educational outcomes for the pupils.
With a strong track record of providing continuous professional development to employees, the school has successfully supported over 29 interns to complete Level 3 Qualifications, a large number of which have progressed to senior classroom support roles.
The school has also supported teachers into taking positions of responsibility such as TLRs and moving into Assistant Head and Deputy Head posts.

Providing assistance and supervision for students before, during and after lessons
Assisting students to understand and participate in tasks in an appropriate way
Assisting with note taking and supporting literacy and numeracy

Helping to build confidence and motivation
