Teaching Assistant
Empowering Learning is currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school based in Redbridge. The role is a long-term, full-time position starting as soon as possible.
Candidates must be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday. Part-time applicants will not be considered.
Ideally, we're looking for candidates with a valid DBS; however, we can assist in processing one should you not have a certificate.

Teaching Assistant - Requirements
Good organisational skills, flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team.
A passionate, empathetic and patient nature, with a nurturing and inclusive approach to pupils and their families.
The ability to develop positive and caring relationships with young people.
A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team, showing commitment to the school community.
The ability to support pupils with specific learning difficulties and an understanding of special educational needs, including ASD.
Recent experience, skills or knowledge of supporting pupils in a school setting would be an advantage.
Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:15 to 16:00.
