Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your existing commitments?
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across a variety of schools. Whether you are looking for occasional ad hoc supply days or a longer-term position, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability and experience.
We are particularly interested in TAs with experience working within a primary school setting, supporting pupils in the classroom and providing additional support to children with SEND.
The role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could be working across a range of schools and year groups, supporting teachers and pupils with their day-to-day learning.
You may be involved in:
Supporting learning within the classroom
Working with individuals and small groups of pupils
Providing support to children with SEND
Helping pupils to engage with their learning and develop their confidence
Supporting classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment
Working alongside teachers and other support staff
What we're looking for
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a school environment
Ideally, experience within a primary school setting
Experience supporting children with SEND
A caring, patient and supportive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Reliability and flexibility
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
