The School and Role
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs on their learning journeys?
I would love to hear from any enthusiastic, motivated people who want to become a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school in Rowde.
You will be supporting children either 1:1 or in the general class who have profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will need to be reliable and flexible as each day is different!
You do not need any qualifications – just the ability to engage and inspire children with additional needs. Some previous experience is desirable but not essential.
The hours for a Teaching Assistantare full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:50 – 15:20, term-time only.
This will become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Requirements
The ideal SEND Teaching Assistantwill have:
Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs
A caring, patient nature
Friendly and nurturing qualities
Well organised and reliable
