Teaching Assistant - SEN School
Location: NG3

Job Purpose
Monarch Education is seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a specialist school in NG3. You will work alongside teachers to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with SEN in the classroom.
Assist with learning activities and lessons.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
Support pupils' social and emotional development.
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Help create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Person Specification
Essential:
Experience working with children or young people.
Patient, caring, and positive attitude.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Commitment to supporting children with additional needs.Desirable:
Experience working within an SEN setting.
Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
Relevant childcare or education qualification.
