Teaching Assistant - Level 2 or 3

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Greater Manchester.

This is a genuinely rewarding role where no two days are the same, and every small achievement feels like a big win.

You'll work closely with an experienced team including class teachers, the SENCO, pastoral staff and skilled support assistants, with access to excellent facilities.

Responsibilities
* Provide in class support for SEN pupils
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
* Help pupils access learning and stay engaged throughout the school day
* Support classroom routines, transitions and breaktimes
* Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress and wellbeing

Requirements
* Experience with children/young people (schools, care, youth work, coaching or similar)
* A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
* SEN/SEMH experience is essential
* A degree would be advantageous but not essential
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to support personal care if required
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
