Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be Level 2 qualified in a relevant subject and possess experience working with Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils. You will play a crucial role in supporting our teachers and enabling a safe and engaging learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and providing support to pupils.
* Work confidently with small groups of children, delivering tailored sessions to meet their educational needs.
* Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care.
* Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Provide one-on-one support for pupils with specific learning needs when required.
* Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject.
* Proven experience working with KS1 and KS2 pupils.
* Confident in leading small group sessions and providing individual support.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
