Secondary Teaching Assistant – SEN
Are you looking to work in a supportive and friendly environment where you can form meaningful connections with children? Teaching Personnel is in collaboration with an inclusive Secondary SEN provision in the south of Bristol, dedicated to making each day exciting. You don’t need prior experience or qualifications, but should be enthusiastic, bubbly and want make a positive impact on students' lives and be part of an inclusive team.
In this role, you will work alongside teachers, teaching assistants, and various therapists who are create unique learning experiences tailored to the individual needs of each student. Classrooms are designed to cater to each child’s ability. You may find yourself singing along to songs and even dancing when the children are working with the occupational therapist!
The position starts in June to continue in September, but there are also opportunities for those available only in September.
We are looking for a full-time TA to start, but also flexible with your schedule.
Position details:
- Small class sizes of 6-8 pupils, allowing for strong relationships with students.
- No prior teaching qualifications or experience required.
- Monday to Friday (08:00-15:00), promoting a healthy work/life balance.
- £84 per day, paid weekly, with accessible routes.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

- Confidence in learning new skills and understanding the specific needs of the children.
