Teaching Assistant - Cardiff | Long-term Roles
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Cardiff? Academics are currently recruiting for a range of Teaching Assistant opportunities across primary schools in Cardiff, covering long-term staff absences throughout the October-December term.
We work closely with a wide variety of primary schools who regularly come to Academics with a range of Teaching Assistant vacancies. Whether you're looking for a 1:1 role, general classroom support, five days a week or just three days a week, we can help match you with an opportunity that suits your experience and availability.
The Roles
Our Teaching Assistant opportunities in Cardiff can include:
1:1 support with individual pupils
General classroom Teaching Assistant positions
Supporting pupils with their learning and development
One-to-one and small-group interventions
Supporting pupils with ALN/SEN where required
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities
Supporting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
Assisting with classroom routines and preparation
Working as part of a supportive school team
