A primary school based in Northampton has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to provide behaviour support.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a passion for supporting pupils with behavioural needs and will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote positive behaviour and enhance student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Work one-on-one or in small groups with pupils who require behavioural support.
Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
Assist in the development and implementation of EHCPs.
Support pupils in managing their emotions and behaviours to maximise their learning potential.
Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages respect and cooperation.
Assist with general classroom duties and support other pupils as needed.
Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help pupils succeed.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or behavioural support (preferred).Benefits:
