SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school in Newham. The school is located a short walk from West Silvertown (DLR) station.
They are looking for a committed and dynamic teaching assistant to join them for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role will be to support a small group of key stage 1 students with Autism and other learning needs.
Further details:
You will work with a small group of key stage 1 students who have Autism and/or other learning difficulties
The role will begin on 2nd September 2026 until end of July 2027.
Will be a 1- year fixed-term contract (with potential for permanency beyond that)
About you:
Be patient, empathetic and genuinely passionate about supporting the developmental needs of children
Have strong communication skills
Be flexible and adaptable
Be able to identity the needs of children and adapt your approach accordingly
Have previous experience as a teaching assistant
