Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Opportunities

Monday to Friday | SEN Schools | Thanet & Surrounding Areas (Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate)

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday) within specialist SEN schools across Thanet and the surrounding areas.

These roles offer the opportunity to become a valued member of a dedicated school team, with many positions leading to long-term placements and some progressing to permanent employment.

Our partner schools support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including:

Complex sensory needs
Medical needs
Moderate learning difficulties
Social, emotional and behavioural needsYou'll work with pupils across both primary and secondary age groups, helping them achieve their full potential in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll:

Support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) both in and out of the classroom.
Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
Help students understand and manage their behaviour through consistent support and encouragement.
Work alongside teachers, parents and external professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes tailored to each student's individual needs.
Provide personal care when required.What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Compassionate, patient and adaptable.
Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
A positive role model with a great attitude and personality.
Able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
Calm, resilient and able to remain composed in challenging situations.Previous experience in education, care or supporting individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.

Requirements

Full right to work in the UK.
An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
A new DBS costs £62, which we'll reimburse after you've completed 20 days of work with us.Apply Today
