Teaching Assistant
Secondary SEMH School - Fareham
ASAP start
Academics are recruiting on behalf of an independent secondary SEMH School in Fareham, Hampshire who are looking for three experienced Teaching Assistant's to join them to start ASAP.
This is a full-time, term-time Teaching Assistant position. Potential temp to perm contract.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. Class sizes are approximately three pupils per class so you will be able to build strong relationships with these young people and be able to tailor lessons to meet their individual learning levels.
They are ideally looking for Teaching Assistant's with experience of supporting children with SEN, in particular SEMH/challenging behaviours, although open to anyone with a passion for working with children, especially those in an alternative educational setting.
