Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to begin a rewarding career within education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons.
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting students with additional learning needs where required.
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
Assisting with classroom preparation and administrative tasks.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with children or young people.
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
A willingness to undertake safeguarding training and follow school policies.
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
