Are you looking for a rewarding role in a fantastic school that can help accelerate your career? We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant for a full time role based in Caerphilly to start in September!
This position is to work Monday - Friday in a Primary School on a 1- 1 basis with a pupil who has complex behavioural needs. You will be required to help the pupil to interact with other children and engage in group activities. You will be expected to help the pupil to interact in 1-1 activities and also interact with other children and engage in group activities.
Individuals applying for this role do not require specific qualifications However, personal experience of working with SEN pupils is valued. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude with a genuine desire to help pupils achieve.
Desirable skills or experience –

Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years

Sensitivity and understanding

Excellent verbal communication skills

To be able to carry out basis tasks on a computer or handheld device
