Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in Eccles, Salford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and making a real difference to their educational journey.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, develop their independence and reach their full potential.
The Role:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.
Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning to meet individual needs.
Supporting pupils with their communication, social skills and emotional development.
Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
Is patient, caring, approachable and understanding.
Has a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Is confident supporting pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs.
Is reliable, flexible and enthusiastic.
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
