Description:
Flourish Education are seeking a teaching assistant to work in a mainstream 1-form entry primary school in Erdington. The school are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately and continue until the end of the academic year.
This role is to work 1:1 with 2 children at different times throughout the day. The child to support in the morning is based in the year 2 classroom. He has Autism and requires a TA with experience in social and emotional support. In the afternoon, the child is based in the Year 4 classroom and requires more support with classwork including phonics and reading.
The role is full-time 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday to start after Easter 2024.
To apply for this Teaching assistant role you will need the following:
Qualified Teaching Assistant level 2 or 3 qualification.
Commitment to a long-term post
DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
Minimum of 2 good references required.
Experience working in a UK Primary school with SEN
Experience working with ASD
