Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Nottingham?
TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream primary school that is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its team immediately. The school has a Good OFSTED rating, excellent facilities and convenient on-site staff parking.
The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, working with children from Year 1 through to Year 6. The position will involve a mixture of general classroom support and one-to-one work, helping pupils remain engaged, confident and able to access their learning.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting
Be confident working across KS1 and KS2
Provide effective classroom and one-to-one support
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Demonstrate a patient, caring and adaptable approach
Have strong behaviour-management and communication skills
