The Supply Register is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across L.E.A.D Academy Trust schools in the Birley area of Sheffield, including:
Birley Primary Academy
Birley Spa Primary Academy
Charnock Hall Primary Academy
Rainbow Forge Primary Academy
Birley Academy (Secondary)
We have immediate, long‑term, and flexible day‑to‑day opportunities available across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and secondary.
Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils’ learning in primary or secondary classrooms
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and daily routines
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, resilience and confidence
Ability to adapt to different classroom settings
A proactive and supportive approach
