Belmont Recruitment have a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant. The position will be based at a lovely secondary school in the Chorley area. This role will be a full time position starting ASAP and will be until the end of the academic year (July 2024). There may be the potential for a more long term role beyond this.

About the role:

You will provide support to the English department. You will be required to work flexibly across a range of classrooms, offering support across different year groups and abilities depending upon the requirements of the department. You may be required to support the whole class or a more one-to-one level of support.

Requirements to apply:

· Qualification within education

· Recent experience of working as a teaching assistant within a school

· Experience of supporting KS3 and 4 pupils

· A strong understanding of the English curriculum
