Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant – After-School Club
Location: Forefield Infant School, Crosby
Hours: Monday–Friday, 3pm–6pm
Duration: 1 month (temporary position)
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Forefield Infant School in Crosby and is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their after-school club for one month.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment after the school day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting the day-to-day running of the after-school club.
Providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children.
Planning and supporting fun, age-appropriate activities.
Encouraging children's learning, development and social skills through play.
Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities.
Supporting children's personal care and wellbeing where required.
Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
Following safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
Ensuring children are safely supervised and accounted for throughout the session.
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold a Level 3 EYFS-related qualification (essential due to staffing ratios).
Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Have experience working with Early Years children.
Be caring, approachable and enthusiastic.
Be confident supporting children's play, learning and development.
Have a good understanding of safeguarding.
