The Role- SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has relevant experience in the field. You will be required To work under the instruction/guidance of the SENDCo and other teaching/senior staff, within an agreed system of supervision to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for raising the literacy achievement of students with SEND. To provide teaching [1:1 and groups] in addressing the literacy needs of pupils who require specialised input to overcome barriers to learning. This may involve planning and delivering bespoke 1:1 and group interventions as well as working with subject teachers to exploit literacy opportunities across the curriculum.
