Teaching Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a supportive and reliable Teaching Assistant to assist Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, based in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

This is a contracted role either Full Time or Part Time for the successful Teaching Assistant who will assist the Teacher tutor a variety of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with compassion and enthusiasm.

The successful Teaching Assistant must be clear in all communications with all Key Stage students and staff, has a motivating and supportive attitude, can develop strong professional learning journeys for the pupil during their studies and can confidently face challenges that may arise with the Primary School pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the teaching of a variety of Key Stage students within an inclusive, motivating and positive environment
Assist the Teacher produce plans for future classes
Be a reflective practitioner who pursues in self-improvement, colleague and practice.
Provide additional support with students in potential 1:1 sessions
Ensure Safe Guarding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupilsCandidate Requirements:

Relevant Qualifications or experience
Enthusiasm for assisting pupils with learning
Strong communication and team building skills
Safe Guarding and an Enhanced DBS is Desirable
Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience
