This is an exciting opportunity to work within the classroom environment across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting small groups of students and assisting the teacher in delivering high-quality education.
Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only
Salary: Final salary based on experience
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, working closely with small groups of students to provide targeted assistance.
* Assisting students with their learning and understanding of key concepts, helping to reinforce learning objectives and promote academic progress.
* Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance or guidance, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring suitability to work with children and young people.
* Previous experience working within a school setting, either as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
* A QTS or relevant teaching or education qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive "can-do" attitude, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of the students and the classroom environment.
