Teaching Assistant – SEN Provision Class
Thamesmead | September 2026 Start | £110 - £120 per day
Key Education Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Thamesmead from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the school's SEN provision class, supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping children access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual targets.
This is a long-term position for the full academic year and would suit candidates with previous SEN experience or those who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Role:
* Teaching Assistant
* Working within a small SEN provision class
* Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
* Assisting with learning, communication and social development
* Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
* September 2026 start
* Long-term contract for the full academic year

Requirements:
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, care or youth work experience considered)
* Passion for supporting children with SEN
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
