Teaching Assistant

Ideal for a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching AssistantA Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This will be a full time, long term Teaching Assistant post. Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
Leading small group sessions and interventions
Attending to students' personal needs when required
Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when neededThe rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.

You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.

Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
