This role involves providing one-on-one support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and assisting with their Maths studies. The position starts in September 2024, with trial sessions being held ASAP.

Provide one-on-one support to students with ASC, focusing on their individual needs and helping them to thrive in a mainstream classroom setting.
Assist Year 6 students with their Maths studies, ensuring they understand key concepts and can apply them confidently.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans and strategies.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting the well-being and academic progress of all students.Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:

Work closely with students with ASC, providing personalised support to help them succeed.
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons.
Assist with classroom activities, group work, and other learning tasks as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to the teacher and SENCO.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with ASC is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in Maths, with the ability to support Year 6 students effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
