We are currently seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a range of welcoming and inclusive schools across Lowestoft and the surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils by providing classroom support, encouraging confidence and independence, and helping children overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support pupils both individually and in small groups.

Responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils in the classroom to access learning activities.
Working one-to-one with children who require additional support.
Assisting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

What We're Looking For

Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people.

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Are adaptable and confident working in a school environment.
Have previous experience in education, childcare, care, youth work or support work (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
