About the Role:

We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our all-through school, catering to students with a mixture of social and emotional learning challenges. This full-time, long-term opportunity allows you to work with students across various age groups, providing the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support class teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with social and emotional learning challenges.

* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.

* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

* Foster a safe and nurturing environment to support the emotional well-being of students.

* Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student development.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people with social and emotional learning challenges.

* A patient, compassionate, and understanding approach.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.

* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN or education (desirable but not essential).

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
